All 107 Text Styles

The 107 text styles on this page are made of Unicode characters and stand in ten groups by what each does to your text. Under each name is the same sample text in that style. Of the style names, 30 are links to the page that names the Unicode characters the style uses.

To see your own words in every style and copy the one you want, use the fancy text generator on the homepage.

Letters and digits replaced

These 24 styles replace each letter or digit they have a character for, one for one and in the same order; the Wide style, for wide text, changes punctuation to fullwidth forms as well.

A mark after each character

These 38 styles leave what you type as it is and add one combining mark after each character that takes one.

Replaced and reversed

Upside Down replaces the characters and reverses their order: the last one typed comes first.

Marks above and below

Zalgo gives each character that takes marks one to three below it and one to three above, the same marks for the same text every time.

Brackets round each word

These nine styles put an opening bracket before each word and a closing bracket after it.

A symbol between the characters

These nine styles put one symbol between neighbouring characters of a word, never next to a space.

A symbol at each end of the line

These eighteen styles put a symbol at the start and at the end of each line that has text.

Superscript and subscript in turn

Up and Down puts the characters in turn into the Superscript and the Subscript style; a character a style has no form for stays as typed.

Brackets round each character

These two styles put an opening bracket before each character and a closing bracket after it; a space stays as typed.

Letters from other scripts

These four styles each take letters from one other script: in place of each Latin letter or digit you type, a letter of that script that Unicode's confusables data maps to it, where there is one; the rest stay as typed.
